Moose Cafe is the perfect stop for some country cooking! It's located right inside of the Fresh Market... so all of their food is FRESH! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The menu has something for everyone and at such low prices with BIG portions! The decor fits the theme: country kitchen. If you're ever in Greensboro, I highly recommend this place for breakfast everyday!

For some reason it will let me do a review of our visit, however, when attempting to post it, it says something went wrong! HaHa!
So I'll just post it here!!!
The food was served warm, not hot, sent back and was received warm again.
Water tasted musty.
Restaurant smelled musty.
Corner of the ceiling had mold approximately 18-24" long.
The air return ducts up on the wall were so covered with dust that there was no air circulation!
The health department needs to check this place out.
Be a very long, if ever, before we go back to this establishment! -

Oh my gosh! Food is excellent and so good! Big potatoes that are hard on the outside, large pieces of sausage and ham and huge muffins. They have the most amazing apple butter which is actually pieces of apples with only sugar, cloves and butter. They sell a jar for $5. Makes a great gift.
Advertised special was sausage and cheese omelette. I was allowed to substitute bacon. There were huge pieces of bacon - not bits! Really great, especially for $8.50. It came with potatoes, grits and biscuits and gravy too. This meal could be for lunch and dinner! Coffee was also good.
Our waitress was Kendall and we had great service too.
Located right off 40 at the Farmer's Market. The place holds lots of people. Will stop every trip we take 40!
Afterthought: The waitresses have the best nails I've ever seen! -

Family of 4 got totally stuffed for $41.18. Absolutely love this place! Food is great and it's fresh. The basket of cat head biscuits are a nice extra. Top notch for sure!

Used to love coming here - we moved from Greensboro a few years ago but come back to visit a few times each year. We usually go to Moose Cafe in conjunction with the farmers market next door. Food used to be really good. Service was always good - busy, but good. Wow how things have changed over the last could of visits. Staff isn't very friendly now. The place is about 5 years past a remodel need. Bathrooms are filthy. And the food this time around was awful. No other way to put it. There was a 1/4 inch of liquid on the plate that the "crispy" potatoes sat in - needless to say, they weren't crispy. They brought biscuits but had to return them as they were hard and overdone. Couldn't but them. Eggs were good but that's all I could eat. Left the rest. Someone needs to buy this and remodel it - hire a new staff. It's in it last leg right now.
